Treatment of oil leakage of reducer

At present, reducer is a very common mechanical equipment, which needs to be applied in many industries. In the process of work, oil leakage sometimes occurs for some reasons. How should we deal with it? Now let's have a look!


1. Pressure equalization


The oil leakage of the reducer is mainly caused by the increasing working pressure in the box, so we should set the corresponding ventilation hood for the reducer to achieve pressure equalization. The ventilation hood shall not be too small. A simpler inspection method is to open the upper cover of the ventilation hood. After the reducer runs continuously at high speed for five minutes, the pressure difference is large, indicating that the ventilation hood is small and should be increased or raised.


2. Smooth flow


The oil sprayed on the internal structure and inner wall of each part of the box shall flow back to the oil pool as soon as possible, and shall not be retained at the shaft head seal to prevent the oil from gradually soaking out along the shaft head. If there is an oil seal ring in the reducer shaft head, or a semicircular groove is stuck on the shaft head of the reducer upper cover to make the spilled oil flow to both ends of the semicircular groove and to the lower box.


(1) The reducer with half output shaft is improved through shaft seal technology


Output shaft of belt conveyor reducer, screw discharger, impeller coal feeder, etc. It is a half shaft, convenient for transformation. Dismantle the reducer, dismantle the safety coupling, take out the reducer end cover passing through the shaft seal, process a groove on the outside of the original end cover according to the size between the relevant supporting frame and the oil seal, and install the frame oil seal with the spring inward on one side. During reassembly, if the end cap is more than 35 mm from the machined end face on the inner side of the coupling structure, such a Chinese enterprise can be used as the spare oil seal on the shaft outside the end cap. Once the students cause the oil seal management failure, we can take out the oil seal damaged by relevant data information and push the spare oil seal into the end cap, thus directly eliminating the impact of disassembling the reducer Dismantle the coupling and other time-consuming and laborious processes.


(2) The reducer whose output shaft is a whole shaft is improved through shaft seal technology


The reducer with full shaft drive realizes no coupling of the output shaft. If the design and transformation are not carried out according to the scheme (1), the workload will not be too large and impractical. In order to reduce the workload of enterprise management and simplify the installation application program of the system, a kind of split end cap is designed, and the relevant research on the open oil seal can be attempted. The split end cover is outside the processing groove of the car. When the oil seal takes out a spring first, the oil seal is sawed into two openings. The oil seal is sleeved on the shaft from the opening, and the opening is effectively butted with adhesive with the opening direction upward. Then, the end cover is pushed in by installing the spring.
