Lubrication and effects of cycloidal pinwheel reducer

Publish Time: 2023-09-07 Origin: site

The lubrication of the speed reducer is a very important part. Whether it is a planetary reducer, a gear reducer or a worm reducer, maintenance and lubrication are inseparable. The transmission of the cycloid reducer generally adopts fixed time lubrication, where the lubricant can be lubricating oil or grease. Different reducers have different lubrication conditions, including different cycloidal pinwheel reducers.

When the peripheral speed of the cycloid reducer is greater than twelve meters per second, use oil injection lubrication. When it is greater than or equal to 25 meters per second, the nozzle can be located on the side where the teeth are engaged or the side that is sent out; when it is greater than 25 meters per second, the nozzle should be located on the side where the teeth are sent out for timely cooling, and at the same time Lubricate the gear teeth. For general closed gear reducer transmission, the lubrication method depends on the peripheral speed of the gear. When the peripheral speed of the gear is less than 12 meters per second, the large gear is immersed in oil for lubrication. When the gear is working, the lubricating oil can be evenly brought to the tooth surface, and the oil is also thrown to the box wall to dissipate heat. The depth of gear immersion in the oil depends on the peripheral speed of the gear.

The amount of oil in the oil pool depends on the power transmitted by the gear. For single-stage transmission, 0.35~0.7Lo of oil is required for every kilowatt of power transmitted. For multi-stage transmission, the oil required increases exponentially according to the number of stages.
